I don't think so. Lou gave Parise a lot of respect and matched the contract Wild gave him but he left to be near family. Cant hold a grudge on that. If you were one of Lou's guys he always brings you back.

Lou does love to bring back guys. Parise has 5 years left after this one but only the next two have real money attached. 9M this year. 8M next year. Then 6M, 2M, 1M and 1M in the last year of actual salary. Cap hit is like 7.5M/year for the entire term.... but the guy still putting up decent numbers so good luck.

Fair return. He's mostly washed up. The good news is Buffalo will almost definitely miss the playoffs so that pick will be a bit higher then if it were a playoff team picking him up.

Palms I'm not worried about because I don't care if we don't trade him. But Vats needs to bring us something back. Also more defenseman are getting moved so there are fewer buyers; which often means as you get closer the deadline people are under more pressure to cut a deal. Expecting a disappointing return if it gets done.
