Fist-ed in the ass by an arrogant GM, entitled cu3t players and a bland as fu3k captain.

Moar grit. ABSOLUTE. FU3KING. YES!!! You want to know why??? Grit isn't about fighting, it's about playing with heart. It's about giving a fu3k when you step on the ice...kinda like Carolina did.

Nobody, not even the captain, played with heart last night except Kapanen and Clifford.

Let's see Shanahan's heart. Hiding in the shadows of Dubas and doing fu3k all.

I would fire Dubas and take the reigns if I was Shanny. Then put every player on blast. I would then look for the best deal that involves one of Marner, Matthews, or JT....and I would take it. Send a fu3king message to these little cu3ts that all the amazing sh1t they get being a Leaf can be gone with one phone call.

Of course the player traded will do well for another team...not the point...they aren't doing well enough for this team and the message should be loud and fu3king clear.

Almost not a Leaf fan any more. Been through too many tough times with a talentless team, now a team filled with talent but no heart...fu3k me!

PS, I think the bird flew into a window. He was pissed last night. Bleach for everyone.

PSS, I wouldn't really want to trade Matthews or Marner but I would definitely trade JT. Without hesitation.

There's not a chance this loss doesn't crater the locker room and begin the fall of this season. You don't get over a loss like that under regular circumstances, they definitely won't when they're constantly reminded of it over the next month.

If Barrie isn't traded tomorrow, Dubas honestly believes this team has the mentally capability to get over this loss and still make the playoffs. And that will be a big, big mistake.

Daley was a guy I thought was a good idea on the cheap for depth. But that was over a month ago. Now it's time to realize they aren't going 13-6 to close an they need to recoup picks, not trade them away.

Nothing this group has shown would indicate that unfortunately. If it happens, it's going to come completely out of left field.

This isn't just a bad loss. A 4-0 or 5-0 catastrophic blown lead in the 3rd would be super rough, but I could see your point there.

This is debatably the most embarrassing regular season loss by the team in over a decade. Maybe more.

It could also mean that there is no trade to be had involving Barrie that would make this team better for a playoff run.

If Dubas trades Barrie for no immediate return it means he's given up on the season and it'll be more than Barrie on the way out the door (goodbye Kap, Kerf, et al.).

As disappointing as that as last night, I was more disappointed with the reaction. This really speaks to the babying on the players that has permeated the culture in Toronto.

Keefe-‘it’s a tough one. It’s going to take some time to regroup from this one.’

What I wish I heard from Keefe-‘absolutely unacceptable. We don’t have time to sit and reflect we need to get our asses in gear now!’

This one is brutal: Keefe-‘it wasn’t a lack of effort it was our execution’. If the worst team in the league puts an effort in they won’t allow 20 more shots against.

It could shake up the team for the better, there's no way to know. It's hard to say you don't get over a loss like that, because no one has ever lost like that.

That absolute most disappointing thing is that after the effort on Thursday they ALREADY got complacent and gave one of the most pathetic professional sports performances I've ever seen.

After a SINGLE game. They became complacent after one damn game.

The Ayers shirts the Canes are selling are in such high demand they ask you allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. They can't even print a simple t-shirt fast enough to meet demand. Ayers is a Canes legend.
