In all seriousness, I think that's a great trade for both teams.
edm gets a top 4, well rounded dman, who has made every partner he's ever palyed with better....and an excellent 3rd line center who can seamlessly slide into your top six when needed, and who's one of the best PK players in the league
give up a 1st, and a prospect who doesn't want to play for you anyways |

Probably for the best as that super soft Swede has been more of a turnover machine of late. Klefbom always has been too brittle to play a full 82 games anyways. Better to have him sit now and lick his wounds so he's ready for the final push and a few playoff games.  |

Pulju isn't worth much right now. It's a sellers market, just look at what Coleman went for. Ottawa is going to try and resign JG, but if they trade him, it'll be for a first plus prospect. So take out Demelo from that equation and you're closer to reality (and Esp now that he's gone)
Price's are gonna be high for centers this trade deadline... There's limited options out there... |

A) You mispelled Nurse. Larsson is more valuable to us than Nurse so he isn't going anywhere. Will likely sign at about his same contract, and has shown his playoff side. He has more in the tank come playoffs.
B) Nurse has more value league wide and would return a greater return.
C) How dare you besmirch the name of our lord Larsson by saying he is easily expendable.
Oiler fans will see in the next 2-3 weeks how important Larsson actually is when bear/jones step in and that pairing is just as fine without Klefbom. May produce less points as a pair, but wont be caved in. Next 2/3 weeks because of no Klef they become the 2nd pairing, but as soon as Oscar is back they become the easy #1. |

Agreed...would like to see Nurse moved in offseason for quality winger for McD...Would also be happy to pick up someone like Manson from ducks ,for lets say K Russell and a 1st + ? |
