You do realize he will want the same system JC uses?
- gifman

Will he?

Well, whatever system he uses has seemed to have success getting his teams to play at a high pace with skill.

He's a strong, veteran coach that players love and play hard for so for that... he's a solid replacement for Colliton IMO.

We keep wasting patrick Kane and to extent toews later careers. Stan should be fired at the end of the year and hire a real nhl coach like gallant. Colliton should of just been a assistant coach first.
You have to trade Lehner because of his contract.
Gustafson for whatever you can get. Should of been traded last draft because we knew who he was all along.
Murphy Saad and Maata if you get the right deal
Kubalik if he doesnt take a contract now see his value.
Carpenter Kampf kokkek are ahl level players who can be replaced. Especially carpenter who sucks at faceoffs and is getting way more ice time then he deserves.
And if anyone wants nylander or sikura in a package trade him
Seabrook should retire and sign the same contract and be a assistant coach gm or somewhere else in the org.

YOu can also do what Toronto did and put Shaw Seabs or DaHaan if necessary on LTIR before the season, you just get no LTIR salary relief for them during the year.
- LAHawk

...considering that they haven't used this ever (like with the Hossa situation and now this), does it end up mattering?

What about M Crawford. Free from Colliton and plenty of experience to decide how any particular system works

Other: Rockford at Wolves Sunday matinee. See some future Blackhawks.

Everything?

If this was a post in like 2004 or '05 I'd agree, but I watch the play of Dach, Boqvist, Kubalik, some others with others on the way and can see a time not too far off with better days ahead.

As far as Stan goes, I generally like his body of work but think he needs to be active at the TDL and leverage any tradable assets he has that don't factor into the future.

Probably because Crow is a winner. And he has been better then lehner down the stretch.
- fattybeef

Colorado is not a great trade partner for the sole reason they have competency in their FO as opposed to most clubs.

Crawford is average at best, certainly not elite. Any goalie could have won those Cups in 2013 and 2015 with the teams Chicago had.

FTFY. Above average imo. Consistently a top 10 goalie in the league. Agreed not elite.

Who is an elite goalie then? And what makes them elite?

If he was anything less than what he was against the Bolts in '15, Hawks don't win The Cup.
And in my opinion, his stage "presence" at the rallies was priceless...….lol

It must be magic or luck to win Cups. Bowman gets no credit. Q gets no credit. Crow gets no credit. The core gets no credit. We were just really lucky.

Oh wait..... I forgot ….. Dale gets the credit for winning 3 Cups.

An elite goalie is one who can play, and win, with no one in front of him. Crawford was the recipient of great defensemen and very good defensive system. Any goalie would have won on those teams. Therefore Crawford was average and not elite. This was the narrative from 2012 to 2016, so it must be true.

Even golf with its limited viewership grows purses every year.
- rpeters01

Most likely due to corporate sponsorship. Each week each tournament has the name of a large American or International company associated with it.

In order to increase league revenue, maybe the NHL could have advertising on their uniforms like soccer teams. I can see the Binny's logo on the Hawk sweaters.

Don't be sarcastic, Uncle Dale obviously should get the credit. And as far as luck when who do you think was the one who gave the team that luck? If you said Uncle Dale you'd be absolutely correct.
