THey played two games in less than 24 hours, thats why they lost. Detroit sucks, bruins just didnt have the legs as the game wore on.

Was the first loss to Detroit on B-to-B as well?
I understand it was B-to-B AFTERNOON games, but still ... it was Detroit

Well shame on the NHL for scheduling a team to play 19 hrs after the end of their previous game when that team has to travel...simply ridiculous. That being said, it is not the reason they lost. They missed way too many opportunities...Wagner has to put the puck in the back of the net on that WIDE OPEN goal from point blank range.

I'll just throw in that I hope Heinen is included in any deadline deal, enough waiting for something, anything from him. You would expect more from a guy coming off of a couple of games as a healthy scratch.

I also add...I HATE NBC games.

idk, sorry there is no excuse for losing to the Detroit Red Wings, team is awful, they just plain didn't show up to play period.
Lot of guys took the day off, However not sure why the change in forward line-up, Team was rolling right along and Blidh gives you a little bite and we have seen more than a few times the Bruins get physically complacent and need that boost
Am I saying they Lost because Heinen was in the line-up of course not No, but they need more grit in the bottom 6, #43 gives you ZERO grit.
I think the Top 6 is solidified unless (I Hope) a trade is made.

But poope happens, Team is really got it together again, so good on them and coaches

it didnt help that bergy took his sweet time getting off the ice costing them a goal. The schedule this year has been bullcrap, but they're still winning,

Meh, it was a back to back and even if they were lethargic they still carried play and doubled up shots on Detroit. Bad effort by Boston and all, Bernier still had to steal that game.

I’m torn on Heinen. He’s an enigma, does all the little things well and the important things poorly. I think he’s expendable but I also think he’s a guy we’ll regret trading in 3-5 years

it feels like we got 5 guys just like Heinen, almost really good, at times the do something to wow you, then, they disappear.

Exactly, Heinen and Bjork are the same player, however we haven't seen the upside of Bjork yet, I think we have seen it with Heinen

The Heinen hate is so weird to me. He's a guy that plays, almost never, on a consistent line, and in the last 2 years has 81 points. He's not making much money, he's a 4th round pick and a 3rd line player and when Heinen-Coyle-Bjork was a consistent line they looked good.

Why are expectations so high for the kid, hes actually playing likely above the level he should with where expectations should lay. Did you think he was going to be this 80+ point player? c'mon

I think Bluemoon said it, zero grown, was great as a first year player, he's that same player still.

Yeah i don't get it. He can play up and down the line up. He is underrated in my opinion.

Yet a player like Par Lindholm, who is absolutely invisible most nights. Never is spoken of.

Have to hate on someone.

Not every player grows year after year. Maybe that IS the player he is. Which is value for the money. He's still 8th on the team in points. I just don't get it. He's not a superstar; he's a role player and he chips in points.
