Nice penalty call on Toews, something in the water with these refs in the past few games

At some point, doesn't the linesman say to the ref "I tripped him".

Complain all you want, it's just old. Constant whining about the refs.

This ref nonsense is getting out of hand.

I know we like to bust Powerenforcers balls about constantly complaining about the refs screwing us...but if there was ever a time to agree with him it’s now. These past few games. When we desperately need as many points as possible. And the Zebras are (frank)ing us over again and again.

VERY frustrating.

I understand your point, and I NEVER like to make the ref excuse, but man I’m telling you this is getting ridiculous and I think it’s worthy of complaining.

That is on the players.
- Elbows15

When it happens once in a blue moon it's on the players. This is a TEAM issue that happens regularly. Poor COACHING !!

It's not even biased as much as we'd have to play penalty free and carefully where the opponent cam just do whatever they want, and it coincides with our best offensive player not producing, not a coincidence

That one was about as bad as it gets. Usually it’s subjective, that one was straight up a blown call.

The league will call the ref during intermission, which will get us the inevitable makeup call...only problem is, our PP is impotent.

No. It always on the players. They are responsible for knowing who they are replacing. The coach calls the next line. He doesn't tell them to jump out there now.

Still a very winnable game.

We got this, IMO, no matter how hard the refs try to take it away from us.

Win tonight, win the next 3(difficult but not impossible), and then we’re gonna be in good shape.

Yea tell me I am in denial as I look at the numbers that show 20 teams have been called for more PIMs than the Hawks. The data doesn't support this silliness.

Game is 2-2, Hawks are in good shape despite massive conspiracies to keep the Hawks down.

At some point doesn't the official GET OUT OF THE WAY of the play? I said it last game, this season I have seen the officials be in the way of the play more than any other season. At times the players should be allowed to check them if they are going to be where the puck is.

Nobody want to believe me, but this is a new tactic the league is using to control games. The officials an't be this ignorant to the game, can they?

And Eddie O needs to be smarter than make a comment like "there is no out of bounds". GET OUT OF THE WAY so you are not in the play. Simple.

Do you know when the calls are made in each game? Don't look at it as a whole, timing is the key.

Brutal call on Toews and then an Oiler player interfered with Lehner by going skate on skate and preventing Lehner from sliding over a split second before the goal was scored right where Lehner would have been.

Well, after the lousy start to the game at least they picked up the pace and got out of the period tied.

I get not liking blaming the refs for subjective calls, but it’s ridiculous to expect people to not be upset at such a blatant wrong call...especially when it costs the team the lead.

Clips of Barker when he still had hope. He had a good 40 game run and then everything went to hell on him.

C'mon - the refs aren't out to get the Hawks or any other team. They make mistakes and the Hawks have been on the short end the last few games. No need to make a conspiracy out of this.

Sure be upset then move on. Let it go and play hockey. The whining is over the top most nights and there is no reason for it, because these same people fall silent when a call swings in the Hawks favor. It's not hard to be objective.

When Hossa was with Ottawa Jacques Martin had the team practicing line changes during their practices. That impressed the hell out of big Hoss.

For real. Wasn't he the third overall pick after two pretty good players? Thought Barker was going to be a stalwart, but like you said the bottom dropped out quick.
