(frank) YES! First good post of the day

Saw half the NE HAR game. Canucks prospects look like they have a lot of raw talent. Maturing should produce 3 Full time NHLers in time.

There was points and it was only one game but I didn't see anything outstanding or dominating.

Where did you sit? Went the last 3 years. A blast!

We walked around, didn’t sit in one spot.

He didn't have many chances when I was watching the back half of the game. Neither did McDonough.

Lengthy 5 on 3 for Harvard, Rathbone had a couple shots. Can really fire a pass but wasn't doing it with any urgency to disrupt the defence. Pace Might be a bit of a wake up call if he does join the AHL next season.

McDonough, I notice his length being 6'3" the long stick to poke pucks away and intercept passes. Again not a lot of sustained offensive pressure by that line when I was watching.

that narrative is funny, because it’s so far from the truth, but it is fun to roll with it.

When you roll with the nickname "hefty" one can only get the impression.

Just got back from Scottsdale, Waste Management tourney was awesome. 75 degrees everyday.

Boys are still winning, didn’t get to see either of their last two games but they got points, which is great. The West is so tight.

- LeftCoaster

They played great, better than the last 2 imo.

Give the aquamen credit, this is a big deal...

Makes the Canucks look like a minor investment in what’s becoming a sports empire.

I remember about 2 years back Tom Meyunuk said that was going to be the direction of the Aquilinis . To become a sports and entertainment empire. Trying to bring in all major league sports.

The coincidence is uncanny . As I type this the credits are running as the wife and I just watched Slumdog Millionaire.

Thanks Carol for breaking down Boston and preview of game. Where do you see the Canucks in this match up, good for the win?

Can someone explain how the hell WPG will have 21 mil in cap space at the trade deadline?

I can sort of understand the Byfuglien situation when he refused to report to work so that is 7.6 mil off. They were up against the cap trying to get Laine and Connor signed and didn't look like they could squeeze them in so how do they now have 21 mil in space.

Secondly Benning has to talk to some of these GMs and see how they get players to just walk away from million dollars in contracts. At the start of this year Byf was still owed 15 mil and he just says screw it?

You are probably right but I thought late in the summer they were still struggling with cap space even after those moves were done.
