Interesting quirk in scheduling that might forecast the entire stretch run for multiple teams. As important as this game is for the Leafs, it may be even more desperate for the Preds. With two desperate teams hoping to make up ground, we might see some very good hockey.

I think they want to see how Johnsson plays for Keefe first before making a decision on trading him. Because he was Keefe's go to guy with the Marlies.

From what I read about the injury though and the time to heal and rehab, it really sounded like his season was done.

Johnsson is also signed for an extra year, that raises the cap. If there’s any “overpayment” on Johnsson, it’s just a couple hundred thousand. Essentially nothing. Try harder.

Those "Stars" of Nashville sure suck and are not earning their $. i can't imagine if they played for the Leafs what people would say...

Really you can grab any random guy to make almost any contrcat not look great in comparison. Jonsson has been a better player thus far.

Why not be patient and see how her looks under Keefe? Or should we trade him for any random #4 or 5 D?
