So the Leafs need experieced, reliable top 4 D, so will include Barrie in a trade. Right. That makes sense.

And Sutter is an experienced checking C good on faceoffs. Worse faceoff numbers than the Leafs current 4C members....Spezza and Gauthier (Sutter is not even 50%). Right. That makes sense.

Ceci is crap, but hopefully the Leafs can get a 7th round pick for him. Addition by subtraction....Leafs D gets better with Sandin in there instead (i.e. with a D-lineup of Rielly, Muzzin, Barrie, Dermott, Holl and Sandin).

This trade proposal is as dumb as the Fox glow-puck.

Would Tanev even be worth a 2nd at this point in time? He would have been worth a lot 3-4 years ago, but Ceci would have been worth a lot 3-4 years ago too.

A second for tanev would ok.

Any trade for Dillon is bad. He is a 6th man and better to just bring up lilligren

Dillon had 1 good year (2018-19). If that's the main piece that the Leafs are getting back in a deal for Kapanen, I hope the other piece is a first round draft pick and only considered subsidiary because it's not an actual player.

If big Buff comes back this season and can return to form he’d be the top acquisition
