As an Atlanta Falcons fan since the early 1990's, I have more than likely watched more Falcons games than most of the posters here. I can assure you that Matt Ryan is not elite. Don't get me wrong, he is a very good quarterback. But to say he is elite is just wrong. He has been over-rated since he came into the league. I cringe every time I here the moniker Matty Ice. He definitely hasn't been elite, or even very good for that matter, when the Falcons need that clutch play. He had 1 great season where it looked like he finally took that step up to elite, but couldn't sustain it. After the Mike Vick dog poop though, I really can't complain too much.

Let's take the Bills' four Super Bowl losses.

Hostetler was absolutely not a better QB than Kelly.
Mark Rypien was not a better QB than Kelly.
Aikman was equal to or a better QB than Kelly (2x).

I didn't get to come by these parts because I went out of town and unplugged from the real world, but I was able to watch the Reinhart to Vesey goal happen right in front of me. It was pretty incredible.

The team needs to work on actually making a pass to maintain possession, at least in Dallas it was very apparent.

I didn't catch any of the Nashville game, but hopefully this break brings a new piece to the team and Skinner and Olofsson are not far behind.
