Karine Hains: Game 30: Canadiens vs Rangers AKA A Big Win in the Big Apple It wasn't easy, in fact it was neck in neck for most of the game but in the end, the Canadiens prevail and have won 2 of their last 3 games.

great Habs win in NYC last night...but lets get real...Weal, Hudon and Peca have got to go.....they were absent the entire game....time to bring some kids up from the AHL....pronto

I dont mind Weal as the extra F, with 3 players injured up front, he needs to be in... but Hudon + Peca definitely need to go, I'd much rather see Poehling + Evans get some time in

I don't usually read the comments on RDS, because they're so negative. But, the first one I saw on the Chiarot article poked fun at the Habs projected lineup against the Pens:

Weal - Danault- Cousin
Cousin - Danaut - Weal
Cousin - Weal- Cousin
Cousin - Thompson - Weal

Chiarot - Weber
Chiarot - Petry
Chiarot - Chiarot

Price
Waite

I nearly spit my coffee out

Joking aside, this team would be screwed without Chiarot.

Who would have thought that when they signed him?

Not I.

I even remember thinking it was such a gamble with that term. They obviously scouted him properly though. He's been worth it.

Makes you wonder how they botched the Alzner signing.

Alzner was pure desperation on MB's part.

I did not think it would be an Alzner deal, but he has been pretty solid in the first or second pairing after the first 10 games or so.

If he plays like this, contract will be good value going forward.

Still need another top LHD for 1st or second pair.

I'm not supposed to hear his music being outside, given we live on a busy street and on the 4th floor

I don't trust my roommate to lock the door every time and make sure we don't get murdered in the night if conflict arises.

You need to buy yourself a proper axe for such situations.

Allow me to suggest the Gransfors Bruk small forest axe. Small enough for close quarters action, yet large enough to inflict lethal damage. Razor sharp from the factory as well.

You sleep with the axe and attach empty beer cans to the inside door handle of your bedroom door.
