Pretty much a given after giving up 5 in the first last night, while losing 7-1 to the Sabres, that Hynes is no longer safe. It's time for a new message. Trouble is, who is available that's not a re-tread and that can bring a system that compliments the current Devils roster?

This team needs a re-tread. You have to go with a proven NHL coaching staff not some guys looking to learn on the job at this level. I'm not touching Babcock but Gallant or somebody could at least stabilize this train wreck.
There is ZERO point in continuing with Hynes. There is no chance he can turn this around. Nesreddine's D is a dog poop regardless of if you add in PK Subban and Sami Vats. When EVERYONE can't play it's not the players. Taylor Hall looks like he can't play hockey. Taylor Hall doesn't know what he's doing out there. What does that tell you? Nobody on the team does.
