He has no chance of winning that, unless the lawyers are doing it pro bono, it would cost him more money than he probably has, and the NHL would have to fight it because it would open too many cans of worms of disgruntled ex-players who want to blame their lack of success on someone else. - Hunkulese
Meh, a lot of lawyers work on contingency anyways, so there's a chance - especially if there's the potential for something to go class action...
There's a potential for the NHL to settle, which you can do without admitting fault.
Just think that, given the state of the US judicial system, this is a case with more opportunity than a lot of others that make it in front of a judge |

Contingency, pro bono, financial backing from whatever civil rights group etc... I doubt he'd have too much trouble financially if he wants to go down the path of suing. |

2-0-0 with Ward coaching. The more I read about him the more I like him. Might the perfect fit to right this team.
Agree on all 3 selections for stars of the month.
Dube looks good playing up, how long til we punt Rieder and bring up Phillips? Maybe Très can convince Buffalo to take him when they leave. |

I really hope BT does not pursue Pageau. The last thing we need is another soft winger. Hopefully he try’s to open up the Zucker talks again. |

Agree on Pageau. With all the success on the farm would rather see some youth then if we're in the hunt at the td then go after an established scorer.
Would be nice if they could send Janko down for a few games to try and regain some confidence. Wtf happened to him? That failed Kadri trade screw him up so bad that he looks lost out there? |

Jankowski, Frolik, and Brodie have all struggled since all the rumours of trades involving them fell through. If I was another team I would buy low on janko...he’s way better than this |

Word is they want a 1st & top prospect for Pageau to acquire him. Not worth it & based on how this fcking team is playing & we are going to be running on an interim coach for the rest of the year, that 1st of ours should be off limits. Ive always supported Tre, but if he were to do that, I would be on the fire Tre bandwagon.

I imagine Peters was tough on Frolik, makes sence how his agent responded to the lowered minutes and occasional benching. Gotta wonder how Janko and Brodie were treated by Peters.
Certain people respond well to criticism, others need to be built up. |

Yeah that’s a ridiculous ask! No thanks! Hall intrigues me! Just not at the cost of Johnny. Who knows what that entails. |

The NHL couldn't settle. They can't set a precedent that every player who feels mistreated by their coach gets a payout from the NHL. Unless there's more, the stuff Peters said was poopty, but pretty much nothing when you consider the mental abuse players go through all the time. The Babcock stuff with Marner and Franzen was so much worse. The NHL also knows there's a 99.9% chance they win the case.

Settling is actually one of the best ways to prevent a precedent from being set... You can seal the terms, whereas if it were to get to court, it would actually be much much worse.
As for the bolded above... jebus. |

These were the lines at practice yesterday.
Tkachuk-Lindholm-Mangiapane
Monahan-Backlund-Dube
Lucic-Ryan-Gaudreau
Rieder-Jankowski-Frolik
Love it. If you are going to play like a 3rd line PP specialist that is exactly where you should be. |

Also like that lineup.
How are the temperatures currently down in Ecuador, and when will you ship my ordered "white" bananas? |

Hey man, how is life?
Up in Quito is the rainy season but down on the coast its nice and hot.
Will get the shipment ready, the bananas are as pure as Pablo Escobars baking powder. |

Perfect, your bits are already coined! But please don't forget to hoover out the big spiders, my girl is still mad with me as the last order quickly conquered the living rooms while i was in, eh, other spheres.
Well, PIT also has a tough (injury) time currently, but maybe we can get through that. Will have an eye on Lindholm as i'm a big (fantasy) stakeholder, liked his recent 10hits effort. |

You know, half of the human population isn't really open for rational arguments.
Sid will not come back this year, hopefully somewhere in January. And Flames could need a good 2C/3C, hope they go for Pageau. |

No to Pageau, just a rental, we have some good options on the farm. Btw, Dube is a center. |
