Jeremy Laura: Moritz Seider scores his first AHL goal, Wings face Columbus

I'm already a lot more excited for Seider than I was after the draft. I was skeptical on the pick but it seems like he is developing fast, and doing a lot for an 18 year old in the AHL. A future of defense led by Hronek and Seider may work out well for Detroit, time will tell, but i'm gaining some confidence.

I agree. It’s a good sign that Yzerman blocks out the noise and finds the pieces he needs.

Looks like a solid pick but we won’t know until he’s up for an extended period of time with the Wings. Promising pick that should pay off.

Very true. Exceptional to see an 18 year old dman have impact in the AHL. will see how the year finishes out
