Side note, not sure if you saw my last post. Pucks and pitchforks had a thought of Hall to Montreal for Cole Caulfield and more.... Reuniting Jack and him would be a great move I think. He was considered the best sniper in the whole draft.

I'm cautious about banking on chemistry in juniors to translate. Remember Henrique and Hall? If that's the trade we make, it should be because Caufield is a top prospect and the best we can get, not because we're assuming he'll be stapled to Hughes.

Ya but Hall and Henrique havent played in 10 yrs? something like that. These two are still fresh. And we do need more finishers.

Im approaching the point where I too just want something to happen, trade or sign. This poop really is a distraction for us, imagine how it is for Hall and the team.

yea, the NHL game is a different beast with different responsibilities than juniors. We can't bank on juniors chemistry to carry over into dominant NHL production.

I'm ready to see that 3rd line in action. Gusev back on the LW with Zajac and Coleman.. cold be good. Did we do that last time? Heaven forbid we give them more than a game or 2 together. I like these lines. Balanced and make sense.

If Hynes is sitting Vats for ANY reason other than a potential trade or health issues, he needs to be rid of. I still think Vats and Zajac would be perfect fits in Wpg for the right return.

Hynes is bad, but not THAT bad.....Vats is out with what is most likely post concussion symptoms from the elbow to the noggin the other night in Edmonton. Hopefully it doesn't linger as we need him back ASAP
