What Konecny is today doesn’t matter, when you’re comparing Farabee to a 19 year old Konecny. I can’t compare a 22 year old Farabee to Konecny today because that kid isn’t here or hasn’t happened yet.

The only thing I’ve heard about Giroux from a group of local fans is that he snubs fans for autographs, that’s it. I’ve seen him snub a kid out of giving him a puck in warm ups once but I’ve also see him toss out many to over the glass.

With this said, Claude Giroux is this generation’s undervalued superstar. He does it all and he does it all as well as anyone. What he has to do to get consideration for the Hart trophy when he’s clearly deserving, I don’t know. Or to make an olympic team, I don’t know.
