Kylington down, Davidson up. Stone in. Lucic in. Frolik sounds like a scratch. |

Because our coaches are incompetent
Really, it’s indefensible. |

Those lines are projected. Wait for Amanda to post on Twitter, it might be different. |

Just read an article on NJ.com about our 4th line. Rooney has 100 minutes at 5v5 and 0 goals have been scored while he's on the ice. His faceoff percentage is over 50 percent. Can't really afford to take him out with the way this team can leak chances. |

If there is a team that the devils owe a good beating too, it's Calgary. They should remember the beating they took last year!!!!!!! |

Nothing against Rooney, but it could just be an anomaly. Especially when you consider that Wood and Simmonds aren't really great defenders.
That said, I don't mind him as the 4C if it allows us to better utilize Zacha elsewhere. Pavel's looked good this year even when the teams been struggling. |

that 2nd line is an accident waiting to happen. there's literally 66% more risk than reward with 2 of the 3 players being defensive liabilities. We COULD separate them and have 33% on the 1st and 33% on the 2nd line.. effectively making the majority of both lines solid both ways... BUT THAT WOULD BE CRAZYY! |

Hopefully Zacha continues to remain consistent. That's my biggest worry. |

It's the Hynes way or High way, buddy.

It seems Hynes just wants to get Nico and Hall going though I agree with you. |

Simmonds has become the softest enforcer in the game. He'll still nudge and chirp when the refs are around, but those mitts are glued onto his hands. Nothing like his old self that so many philly fans loved. Palms has more brass then him. Personally, I would sooner dress Hayden, as he is well aware that his a 4 line enforcer, not a wanna be top 6. Harsh, but it has been painful watching Simmonds. |

They are all black holes on that 4th line. Get the zone, rip a low percentage shot and hope for the best. They don't lift their heads up, which makes sense to not sewer Bratt on that line. It would be nice to see them up their physicality, but I really can't complain since we finally have 3 lines with strong scoring potential. |

This is a pretty harsh assessment. He's been fine and even pretty good some games. I don't care what he wants to be or if Hayden knows he's a plug, Simmonds is clearly the better player. |

Simmonds has 6 points in 13 games. Hayden has Richard in 7 games.
John has 2 PIMs (Wayne has 6 PIMs) and neither has dropped the gloves.
Neither is really an enforcer. The difference is Simmonds can play hockey.
The team would have been better off with Q in the minors then having anything to do with Hayden. Guy is a complete waste.
You could argue Wayne isn't worth the $5M but who give a poop what they're paying him. |

I 100% agree with this. I have zero understanding why Hayden is with this team.
On a completely different topic, if Rooney could learn some composure around the net, I would really like him. I've never seen a player panic more in the offensive zone with the puck then him...well maybe Janssen |

Martin Marincin of Toronto on waivers. 6'5 217lbs. of defenseman for $700,000/year.
Could be our 3rd pairing guy and let us send Tennyson down.
Just saying. It's Free. |

Thank you! Us too! For a little guy, he’s like a pit bull on skates. Good center of gravity, takes it to the big guys in the corners, can skate and shoot and has a good hockey IQ. If he keeps it up, he’ll go far! |
