After this (frank)ing game tonight, I don't want to hear any of you guppies ever saying "Montreal refs" ever (frank)ing again

Gary Buttman is a cancer to our sport I've been saying this for decades, they don't even hide their corruption anymore

Flyers 6 Powerplays and a penalty shot to Habs who had none and a missed high stick on Drouin that cut him in the last few minutes of the game....one of the more corrupt NHL games I've seen in awhile. In a non-Chris Lee officiated game even

The Hawks are NOT trading Lehner...

I'm sure he will be signed long-term way before the trade deadline.

The Hawks don't have anyone in the system that is even close to being NHL ready.. You can be assured that getting Lehner locked up long-term is a priority for StanBo..

I wouldn't be shocked to see Crawford moved tho..

Besides, I see the Hawks making the playoffs anyway.... I predicted the Hawks would get off to a slow start, but once this team starts getting some chemistry I think they will be OK.... This was certainly a team that would start the season cold but end the season hot...

This is stupid.

#1 No one who actually watches the Hawks is saying he's been bad. If anyone is saying he's been bad, then you are dumb. He's arguably been the MVP of this team and the Hawks probably would be winless without him.

#2 Why would they trade him? Just a completely baseless rumor. If anything, the Hawks like what they see and they'll lock him up to a long term deal and let Crow walk who is older and on the downside of his career. Or if they could find a taker, they'll deal him at the deadline. Not Lehner. Stop pushing stupid narratives to drum up conversation when clearly they don't even make sense.

I'm all in on trading him at the deadline, getting a haul, and signing him to the long term deal that him and Stan have already agreed to after July 1

Why would he even want to sign a long term contract with the Hawks? They are going to be bad for several years, I'd imagine he hopes to be traded to a contender or sign with a contending team during free agency.

The downfall with that theory is that almost ALL contenders have a #1 goalie already. And would NOT be in the market for a 6-7-8 million dollar goalie. The interested teams may number just one or two...

How are you leaving off the Islanders with only 25 PP opportunities and the Lightning with only 35?

True...NYI 25 PP...43 SH
Lightning 36 PP....48 SH

Look, I could have listed 15 teams with worse PP to SH ratios than the Habs....just wanted to point out to the crying Hab fan that Habs are NOT picked on. Actually, he should have probably been posting a day or two ago....saying how it is unfair the Habs had 5 MORE PP than times they were SH.

The Habbies whine all the time....just tired of their BS excuses everytime they lose. Refs??....Bettman???...ya, right!!!

Yeah sorry I didn't mean that in an antagonistic way

Just laughing at the comically-small number of PP opportunities the Isles have had so far this season.

It is quite low. Some teams have over double that amount. And to be SH 43 times and only getting 25 PP is even worse.

Yet Isles are something like 11-3-1??? No excuses baby....just win!
