This article is just brimming with bizarre leaps in logic. To name a few:
-Drouin and Hall are worth the same, apparently?
-Taylor was upset with being booed by fans during a game, meaning that he must immediately want out and that Shero wants to immediately move him, because a Sabres twitter account said so.
-Shero and Hall’s agent are meeting, as they have since the season began, but this time it means that a trade is imminent.
-You think that the Sabres would have enough leverage to just say “the goalies are off the table,” and that the Devils would just go with that?
-Scandella and Sheary, really? An injured, older-than-Hall dman on an expiring contract who isn’t that good to begin with is gonna be the centerpiece of a trade for a Hart winner. The Devils aren’t looking for scraps, here.
And all of this is ignoring the fact that Hall will leave because he wants to play for a contender. Like, a team that can win the Cup, not a team that looks like it could compete in November. |
