The Devils are officially in the Taylor Hall pickle. Do they trade him for a low first round draft pick and a B-level prospect, or do they keep him for the draft lotto? |

Plain and simple, if a reasonable price sign Hall. Otherwise you trade him for the best you can. Too many possibilities exist there, so leave it to Shero to find the best one if he has too. |

I think you are underestimating Taylors trade value. As an expert armchair GM, I go to the Blue and propose a trade. They are a veteran team that struggles to score, and lost Vlad long term to injury. They paid a big fee for O'Reilly, and it paid off. I see them dropping off the face of the earth after this season, so....
To Stl: Taylor Hall 50% retained salary
To NjD: Prospect Klim Kostin, 2021 Stl 1st, 2022 Stl 2nd (becomes 1st if Hall is resigned or they make the conference finals this season)
There is now way Hall gets less than a recent 1st selection prospect, and a quality 1st rd future.
On a side not, good trade for Louis, he is pretty decent and we acquired him for VERY little if anything. |

Hischier: 0 goals in 9 games, career high 52 points
General Public: “7.25M! What a deal!”
Nylander: back to back 61 point seasons
General Public: “6.9M. Psssh. Leafs got hosed again”

Karma - Hall (50% salary retained)to Oilers for Boucahrd, Puljaarvi plus pick. Oilers can't resign him so Devs still have a chance to next year. |

Cant touch the BouchBomb. If we REALLLLY had to, we could probably give you Larsson. Don't you kinda miss him? |

Home soil? Did you guys start playing field hockey? |

We are exactly the type of team that trades coaches and starts winning. It’s all there to be a very decent team. |

5 game road trip…. hoping for a 2-2-1 just to survive!!! I get it, Ray doesn’t want to look foolish in giving Haynes that extension by firing him this early but by December the season will be over. You put Fitzgerald behind the bench for what reason? Do I really have to watch this team go 1-4-1 only to come home and lose to Ottawa…? Maybe then Ray will make the change!!!!!! |

1-3-1.............. see losing is contagious!!!!!!!!!! |

Also reporting that Simmonds is shifting down to the 4th line to make room for Boqvist to play with Zajac and Coleman. Think that is a fine move to keep him insulated. |
|
|
|
Simmonds is only useful on the PP so him playing 4th line minutes isn't a big deal. Finally they're playing Boquist. I feel sorry for the kid. |

Role the dice and go Gusev-Zajac-Boqvist with Wood-Coleman-Simmonds. Or switch Boqvist and Simmonds. |

Good point. And when the team is on the road they won't get booed so maybe Hall will win a game for us this year. |

I can't believe my eyes. A ref didn't blow the play dead with the puck clearly visible? |
