Rivalry has died some since the Hawks' glory days. Probably don't need promotions anymore to keep Hawks fans away. Hope a 1st-2nd place team isn't too worried about the fan base of a team that has not made the playoffs the last two seasons.

Eh, I don't know about that... The Hawks fall from grace is kinda of what started the rivalry in the first place. Doubt many Hawks fans gave two poop emojis about the Preds until the sweep. Rivalry's don't really fire up until both teams give each other reasons to hate one another. Semi-Serious question for Hawks fans though. Why does the ticket thing bother you so much? I agree it's a dumb policy that's about half a decade passed being necessary, harking back to the olden days when the franchise did have trouble squeezing 10k in the arena on Tuesday. (Ironically put into place as much for the Red Wings fans flooding the building back in the day than any other team) Still, all I ever see from most of you Hawks fans on here is how much you hate our team, our fans, our chants, our city, our state... Why in the holy he-double hockey sticks do you even want to attend a game here if you hate the place so much? Personally, I don't mind having fans of the opposing team in the building. Jawing with them makes it more fun. Big difference in Nashville is that the same fans telling your goalie they suck during the game is much more likely to buy you a beer afterward than trying to start a fist fight with you in the parking lot like in some places.

When you win a cup let Hawks fans know, until then you jealousy is childish and your “rivalry” is one sided as to Chicago fans your team has never mattered

Really? The amount of Troll traffic on these boards would suggest otherwise. A lot of Trash Talking and belly aching over a team you don't care about. You don't care, then prove it, stop being a hypocrite and go spout your garage on your own team's blog.

Good post, but frankly it was Nashville that made a big deal about the ticket thing. The Hawks fans were well-represented in all arenas during their glory years, it was Nashville that got the most upset by this. Not trying to start anything with you, but I thought it was ridiculous to try to keep Hawks fans out of the building when they helped sell the place out every time Chicago played there.

Hawk fans only started coming to Nashville when they were cup winner(s) or contenders.
This started the rivalry on this blog as they were called out as "Band wagoners", because they couldn't get tickets to games in their own arena. This was their one or two games a year to see the hawks play, so they would get drunk and obnoxious here and then act like they have been loyal fans for years.
