Sad state of affairs in Philly sports. Flyers GM is horrible as the product on the ice is, Phillies kept kapler a season to long, the eagles suck ass, and God knows what the sixers will look like

The season is young, the coaching staff and systems are new, they’ll find their way but this is a low 90’s point team at best. I know they’re not allowed to but the best thing Fletch could do is sell off Giroux, JVR, Ghost and Voracek for draft picks and start a rebuild. There’s some good young players here now and some good young prospects in the system, build on that.

Honestly, 2Real? You just can't help yourself can you? The defense is so bad because of the personnel. It's a lot more on Howie Roseman than Jim Schwartz. Roseman did nothing to address the clear deficiencies on defense; linebacker and secondary (cornerback specifically). Sad part is that it's been this way for a long time and it's never been fixed. I would have gladly traded two first rounders for an All Pro corner, especially with how poorly the Eagles typically draft.

i cant stand him but the dbs cant cover, the LB corps is trash and has been for years. Hicks could play when healthy but he gone. the dline is too thin......i cant blame him

Nice to see Farabee and Misha get a shot. They've both looked really good for the Phantoms. Shame Twarinski got sent down, I thought he brought an energy, hustle, and finishing ability this team lacks. Not sure how he got demoted from the 3rd line when he was the one creating chances on that line.

He would have been the last of the bottom 6 not named JVR that I'd take out in order to ice the best team but him going down probably gives him a better chance to develop his game.

Rubstov has also looked pretty good so far. Prob on level with Vorobiev but I'd also let him get some more AHL experience and hopefully continue to build his confidence and offensive game as it will be harder to do playing less minutes against tuffer comp.
