The puck hit 2 skates and bounced back. If it hadn’t it would have gone behind the net and JJ would have been right there. So now he gets roasted for bad bounces and deflections?

I get that the guy is bad and I certainly want him gone, but half of it is to see who becomes the scapegoat here post JJ.

The puck was not going behind the net, at any point. The Vegas player at the wall purposely sweeps it MaxPac. I watched it again to make sure he wasn't trying to head off the puck from getting dumped around. Under no circumstances should he have gone behind the net in this situation regardless. His partners and forwards did him no favors, but yeeesh, why would he go behind the net? He could have stayed on #9, or stopped in front of his goalie. Instead, he went behind the net anticipating a puck that wasn't even going there in the first place and forgot he had two behind him.

Hate to play this card, but have you played at competitive levels, and then, did you ever play D?

No no, haven't you been reading stuff around here? Johnson looks like a different player.

Johnson is so bad, that it's now to the point that because people mention how bad he is, people will defend him....even on a bad play. I blame Gunner.

I don't know I'm ready to put Marino into that Maatta Chameleon category, but I'd imagine you're going to see an improvement when he's not playing with a garbage dmen or dman who can't play on his off-side.

They're just not going to do that. If he had only one or two more years then I could see them thinking that, but they're not going to do that for four years.

JJ needs to be moved, but it's just not easy. I 100% believe all reports I've read that they have been and are still trying to move him, but that contract is just ridiculous.

If JR would retain salary he'd have a much better shot at moving him. My only real hope is that they find a way to send him to Seattle in the expansion draft.

My thought on JR stating he is not going to move our 1st round pick this year. I think he is going to try to package that to get rid of JJ this offseason. My hope is that we can some how get rid of Gudbranson and JJ's contract. I would take a 1-1 deal in hopes we strike gold. Random side note: I heard a rumor Penguins might be interested in Kyle Turris which is a newer name I have heard connected to us.

It looks like Johnson was on Puck Side Protect, the player really should switch to Collapsing/Protect net to avoid those mistakes in the future.

Why did the NHL give the Pens the most back to backs AGAIN? 2 years ago while going for the 3 peat and having played SO MUCH hockey, they gave them 19, 17 this year.

Why not go Murray vs MAF last night? It is early and MM is healthy. Marquee match up and they dress the back up?

Did they ever say what happened to Dumo?

They showed Rust and Bjugstad skating pre-game. Have they guessed a timeline?
