I still don't understand why he didn't start the year with the Rangers. I get it, he's young and they want him to develop but IMO he had a better preseason than Howden and he should be playing 2nd or 3rd line minutes with NYR

For starters, Howden is a center, Kravtsov a winger. Also, if Howden get <10 min. a game it’s not as big a deal. VK should be seeing over 20 down there once he gets his head straight.
I would bet it has something to do with him earning $70K in Hartford when he was a star making 7 figures at home last year. That would screw with most of us, I’m sure.
Hope he works it out. I was as excited about him as any of the others this year!
