Don't have a great feeling about this one. Preds averaged giving up around 50 shots a game to Vegas last year, and it took some Goalie Voodoo from Saros to keep them in a couple of those games. Should be interesting to see how the Preds perform against one of the better teams in the West. They're going to have to tighten things up defensively for this one. I love the way the Offense has looked, and love the fact that the team can go down a couple of goals and not feel like the game is over now, but relying on dramatic late game come-backs isn't exactly a sound long-term plan for success.

There's been some serious defensive lapses to begin the season. I didn't think they'd miss Subban very much, but Fabbro has had some really dumb plays. They all have. Hopefully that's 'early season' things that work itself out.

The Central is stacked so the Preds better not fall too far behind. Yeah, it's nice to think that we can come back, but why test that theory EVERY GAME?

These late games test my patience. Especially if they're going to wait until the 3rd to start playing good. Let's get an early lead, build on it, and finish the game 10-0 so I can sleep peacefully, ok boys?

Now that's more like it boys! I'll admit to experiencing a 'here we go again' feeling after the L.A. debacle, but tonight's game made the L.A. game look more like an off night. I like what I've seen from Turris so far, and I hope he keeps it up... If he can rebound back to form from his Ottawa days, he could turn out to be a secret weapon the Preds could certainly use. I'm still skeptical of Calle in the top six long term, but he's looking good so far. He's looked considerably better than Smith did in that role anyhow.
