Going back to the beginning of the summer and everyone boning up over the doom and gloom the Leafs were in... Dubas did an very good job overall.

It is tough to argue that Mattews Marner and Nylander are good contracts. They aren't. They are bad in their own way.

I thought nylanders aav was 400gs too much when he signed (not a huge deal). Now, if he gets backs to 60pts and up to 70pts, hes paid exactly what he should be. Hes not a steal and its not a bad contract.

I think that toys narrative is overblown. I think his toys are Matthews, Tavares, etc.

We are never seeing the best lineup because of how he coaches.
