I can totally live with Lindholm now as a depth forward. At lest he does what he's paid to do.

Backes cleared (shocker). Rumor is they are giving him until after the all star break to report to Providence. A little time to think things over. They are probably hoping he decides to retire, as am I.

- Buyout in summer would come with $4M penalty in 2020-21, $1M in 2021-22.
- Bruins could eat up to half of $6M cap hit in potential trade.
- Bruins not on the hook with penalty if Backes retires.

Blidh not returned because he has to pass through waivers ... They must think/know someone would grab him if they try to sneak him through.

Rask must be good to go as they returned Vladar to Providence. Bruins are required to carry 2 healthy goaltenders on the active roster through the bye week. They play back to back games coming off the bye week, so guessing Rask will serve his one game suspension for skipping the All Star game then play the 2nd game of the back to back.
