Kovalchuk 4 points in 4 games now including the game winner in OT tonight - JEFF SPICOLI
would like to see if he is still doing this in 15 games..but only a $70K cap hit if he goes to minors makes the risk basically nil |

Yeah Kreider has to be the target. Who cares where he plays, he has exactly what we're lacking aside from being a top notch 2nd liner. Tough, nasty, fast and can finish. Not sure we can afford to part with asking price, it would be a painful spend.
Gut tells me it's going to be Toffoli, a definite upgrade and much cheaper. |

Nothing involving a 1st or top top prospect for Toffoli is all I'm saying |

I wouldn’t go higher than a 3rd + middle tier prospect on a pure rental. Just not worth it.
I’d love Kreider, but only if he signs with us or is part of a sign and trade. Renting him will cost too much. |

2-0 Providence after 1. Lots of carryover hostility as these teams played each other last night. The usual suspects are standing out as usual. Cehlarik, Studnicka, Lauzon, Freddy, Kuhlman all had a great period. Cehlarik with one of the goals. |

Great start to the 3rd .... Blidh with a penalty shot (goal) and Woods just fought Springfield’s goalie |

Great effort. The guy Brendan Woods they signed had 2 goals tonight, fought Springfield’s goalie and looked great. Has size and jam that Boston could use. Cehlarik is worlds above everyone else on the ice in IQ ... No further comment. (frank)ing travesty. They also have a guy Cooper Zech on an AHL deal who looks good ... Young guy smaller in size like Krug/Gryz and plays the same kind of game. They should probably extend him a contract.
Lots to be happy about. Some good stuff going on in Providence ... |

I think though if we can move Cehlerek for Kreider and this Deangelo kid, we have to at least consider it. |

I’d like to see Cehlarik moved at this point if they’re not going to use him, just for the sake of his own career. (frank)ing baffling, man. Cassidy’s wife must have blown him or something.

It’s fun, man. I went with my 4-year old son today. Sunday the games are at 3 so lots of kids and not as rowdy. Friday nights are a little livelier ... Still some good heckling from the stands today though. Attendance typically anywhere from 6-10K per game. $13 beers just like at the Gahden. |

maybe they are holding him out as they don't think much of him but maybe another team will overpay for his potential. Dunno
Have to admit he hasnt been that noticeable when called up, but neither has Ritchie in his 25 games... |

I’d be ok with moving Cehlarik as part of a ‘sweetener’ for a team to take Backes...
Or as part of a deal for Kreider.
And gotta say, I respect the hell out of what Kassian did to Tkachuk the other night. Gave him what he deserved then called him a wussy after the game
Bruins could use some of that ... |

a couple of views I have on the tussle...There was nothing wrong on the hit Kassian got...keep your head up son. I also did not like tkachuk not responding to Kassian and stripes interfering. Let the boys settle it.
end result was Kassian response cost them the game...and calling him a wussy after the game was kinda lame.. |

Anybody who douchebag Doughty hates that much is ok in my book
Not the biggest Tkachuk fan but less so Kassian, Looch wannabe sh!tbag. Got train wrecked by clean hits and can't control himself. Then brags about his 13 goals MacDavid has given him. |

Online reaction from players seems to differ ... Seems Tkachuk is indeed seen as a poopbag wussy by his peers. Reputation for targeting the defenseless then not answering the bell. Gotta be true if they’re defending Kassian of all people
Bruins could desperately use the toughness, frankly. |

which players had a problem with the hit? i can see them annoyed with him not defending himself when challenged..
If a Bruin did that hit, I would be thrilled... |
