He’s been consistent but has seemed to plateau down there this season. Kind of like Lauzon seemed to which makes me believe he might look better in Boston than Providence if that makes any sense.
Either way, great top-tier prospect or trade chip.
I’m going to the P-Bruins game tomorrow ... I’ll give you the scoop, scoop - JEFF SPICOLI

Tough year for him. They had him at wing for awhile and he was awful. He’s looked much better lately since they moved him back to center. Good prospect, good upside/potential but not quite ready yet for a look in the bigs. |

Kampfer scores with .4 seconds left in the 2nd. Greasy goal, crashed the net.
2-0 Providence after 2. |

Good win, 2-1 Providence.
Seny, Freddy, Vaak, Zboril, Cehlarik all looked great. They’ve got 3 guys, Lantosi, Woods, and Zech, all of whom are on AHL contracts now ... Who all deserve 2-way deals IMO. Lantosi is sneaky-good offensively, Woods is a guy with good size, and physicality, and Zech is like Gryz and Krug .... Undersized but quite effective in the transition.
Good game. Dogfish Head IPA

Clifton was a scratch today, word was that they didn’t want him playing two games within a 24 hour span coming back from injury. His conditioning stint is officially over, he was just recalled to Boston after the game tonight.
Hopefully they can move Moore tomorrow ... Carolina reportedly looking for D, might be a great opportunity for the B’s to unload salary and gain back a draft pick. |

19 hrs. until deadline ...
My 1st preference is now Palmieri as he would fit awesome on that 2RW, while Kase slots in Heinen’s spot on 3RW.
Kreider at this point seems like a pipe dream with our 1st round pick already in Anaheim. Still the best player available and he would be awesome, just not so realistic anymore.
Would be great to add some size and physicality to the D corps, just not sure how it happens at this point. The best guy available (Dillon) is now in DC so we missed the boat on that move unless Sweeney has something else sneaky up his sleeve... Bogosian? Buff? Gotta say, all set with either of those moves ... If those are the options, I stand pat.
Heinen, Moore, and a 2nd enough for Palmeiri? Would the pot need to be sweetened with a prospect to make it stick? I’d do Cehlarik (just out of charity as the guy should be an NHL mainstay) or Steen, or Zboril ... How about Blidh? Kuhlman? Too much? I don’t think so, this is our time with the window closing on the current core. Do what it takes Donny. Let’s face it, we have a logjam of prospects right now. I put everybody in play except for Studnicka.
Get it done.

10 1/2 hrs now. No don't think that enough for Palmieri.
I'm thinking Heinen/Bjork + Vaak/Frederic/Zboril+ 2nd, their choice on first two options. At least that. Steep but that's what I think, and maybe even a Seny/Cehlarek kicker. Not sure what's gonna happen today if anything but I think this is the most likely. About 7/2 if I were a betting man.
Not many other options except for the grizzled vet route |

Wow good deal for Trockeck by the Canes. Would've been happy with him, didn't think he'd be available. Guy can score.

It’s a haul ... But there’s conditions on all those picks:
“The 2020 first-round pick shifts to a 2021 first-round pick if the Islanders' pick is in the top three this year. The 2022 third-round pick will only transfer to the Senators if the Islanders win the Stanley Cup this year.”
So it’s basically a 1st and a 2nd which is still a lot IMO ...
