i like it, yes. the money part of hockey always gives me agita but this seems like a deal i am pretty comfortable with.

I live in Southern Ontario, some Leaf fans (vocal minority I'd imagine) are literally ready to fire bomb the Marner's. It's kinda crazy. Hockey was more fun before we viewed how a guy's contract impacted the overall team cap and you could just cheer for players and not hate them for their salary cap hit.

i get why the cap had to happen and all but it really is a mess as a fan. i don't want to have to resent a player i like because the GM gave him too many dollars or years and now the team can't fit in other players to get better.
