Here's hoping that either Korshkov or Mikheyev get a shot on Tavares wing in replacement of Hyman, until he returns from injury....

and here's hoping that Babcock does try to push Petan into that spot, who has neither the size nor the puck retrieval skills to be effective in support of Tavares.

the time to experiment with the younger/new players is at and coming out of camp - not half way through the season when the pace of the AHL and NHL are different.

I hope both make it because it'll sound like the 1972 Summit Series all over again... Korshkov passes it to Mikheyev and down the ice they come. Mikheyev... In the corner over to Korshkov. He passes it back to Mikheyev. Over to Kharlamov. He passes to Yakushev over to Mikhailov to Korshkov he shoots he scores! What a play by Boris Mikhailov to set up Korshkov but the key play was made by Mikheyev. Dryden seemed to freeze on that shot by Korshkov and it's 1-0 for the Soviet Leafs...
