I wouldn’t get too worried about it cause lemieux and deangelo suck.
Besides deangelo is an outed racist and homophobe...so really just human garbage, right? That’s someone you want in your team’s uniform???

Tony D and Lemieux should be aware of www.capfriendly.com/team/rangers as much as we are
there just isn't enough money to give them more than their qualifiers, if they perform, money will come their way |

And I'm sure they feel like management capping the team out before signing them isn't their fault. If they've earned more (DeAngelo has an argument, Lemieux not so much), they're right to hold out. I feel like the team is as desperate for DeAngelo's help on the backend as he is for an NHL paycheque. |

Nothing like a Richardwad flyer fan coming on here trashing the rangers! Meanwhile they’ve been in a re-build for TEN years and constantly talk up all of their great prospects.Gorton did more in two years than the flyers have done in ten! They better hope carter hart is the real deal or it will be another ten years before they even sniff contending for the Stanley cup! |

Unless they are hoping for an offer sheet, which by the way is pretty remarkable that they havent received one yet, they have no leverage at all but to sit out, but even then they are still Rangers property next year. I think they are both arbitration eligible next year. They will probably both sign and kill it this year and get paid next year. |

With current cap space of a mill, and Belesky and Smith going to AHL, isn't there approx 3 mill to sign ADA and Lemiuex? |

basically any team can have them for free if they really wanted to at this point
I think the only thing stopping them is that team's dont want to anger the Rangers |

yeah, but they need at the very least 1.3 mil of so of space during the season for callups |

One more trade is needed. It's beating a dead horse , but Nam for a prospect and/or pick has to be done |

ADA is relatively talented but he had to be on his best behavior last year when we carried a bazillion defensemen and most of them sucked. Somehow, he still got himself scratched for maturity issues. If he has an established place on this team, he will embarrass the team and the coach. I agree with Bruce. Only a matter of time before he's being fined and having to apologize for making homophobic, racist remarks. Is this someone they really want around so many young, impressionable, kids? Put Smith there or sign Claesson. DeAngelo has no trade value because nobody wants his attitude. He brings a little grit, but he's not that big. If Winnipeg wanted him instead of Pionk, he'd be gone. They chose Pionk.
Brendan Lemieux is another story. He really is a perfect fit here. Hopefully, they can find a way to sign him to more than a one year deal at the minimum. |

They had the draft and all summer long, if it could have been done, it would have. If anything he might be able to be moved at the trade deadline, if his production increases. |

Well... something has to give, and I have no doubt that JD and Gorton have a plan in the works to address resigning both. Someone will be traded before start of season |

They dont need a trade to start the season, they are cap compliant now so no moves are needed. Gorton already sent them their QO so he is done with his plan, the two players either sign the QO or sit out, they have no other options unless they sign an offer sheet. Both players can be part of the future but arent integral parts as of now. |

There is no reason for them to hurry and sign their qualifying offers prior to Sept. 12th.

My posts are always intelligent hockey posts, just because my post of Panarins signing was mistake which went against the grain of some on this board, I was attacked. |
