Surprised nobody brought up the big title bout: Bagel Boss guy vs. Lenny Dykstra. What a time to be alive. |

it got lost in the hoopla that they added Gretzky that summer though - jimbo83
They keep him might have been raising another banner. |

Amonte, Amonte, Tony Amonte doesn't quite have the same ring to it but it might have produced a few more Cup rings as well. His 30-40 goals per season over the next decade sure wouldn't have hurt |

What did Dykstra do now? Wasn't he indicted for some kind of illegal trading awhile back? |

I love what the Rangers have done here. In such a short amount of time they went from one of the worst prospect pools to the best. This rebuild was ingenious, GMs around the league should take note. I believe in Gort and JD |

AHHHHH so you ADMIT that you are a Panarin hater and are rooting for him to fail. I knew it would work. - jimbo83
I just never understand people who do this. Even if you think 100% whatever is the wrong move, don't you as a fan just hope it works out even if you think it won't? I'd rather be wrong on a message board and hope the team does well. |

If we want to make a run for the P O's I M O its a must to upgrade 2 c
If you are content with the growth to date & dont want to upgrade 2 c
your patience is admirable but misplaced , why when we have excess parts and can jump into contention wouldnt you make a move to get to PO's NOW
those who think an in house candidate is possible (Chytl/Andersen )
not realistic , could set back a player if misused
List of possibles at 2 c ?
Fla Trochet ?
Ott Jean Gabriel Pageau *** 26 yr old could be a big upgrade
T B Tyler Johnson ?
C B J Boone Jenner **...retooling for CBJ
Ana Adam Henrique ** ..retooling Ana
Cal. A Bennett & Monahan & Jankowski cap hell may need to sell one ?
Edm R N H **** my fav
Minn V Rask didnt do well after trade ,could rebound
Winn A Lowry could fleece them again ?cap issue
Talent pool to trade from : lil over pay insures your choice :
so what we got the stock..... heres the pieces in play that are valuable too
Howden -Andersen- Georgiev - Names -Strome- Lindgren -Lundkqvist- other D prospects except K miller any wing prospect we have in system, draft picks
any combination of player -prospects -picks - $ money eating will secure a top center , it will avoid 2 things ,keeping us out of the P O;s & ruining a young player who isnt ready to play 2 c in the NHL |

And you all lost, including you dippoop, or should your name be Jumbo83?? 83 representing your waist size sitting in your mothers basement?? [ ] [ ] [ ]
- Brukie
I'm astounded everyday that an NHL team hasn't swooped you up for all your positive insights.
I didnt realize Jumbos waist size and the fact that he lives in his mothers basement has anything to do with hockey, I was just defending myself from personal attacks Bluesh!t Fan, but hey ok, we all have a different perspective on life. |

I dont know how your waist size and living in your mothers basement/garage correlate to being a Panarin hater, but hey thats how you see things, oh well - Brukie

wow brah, that's the weirdest thing anyone has ever said to me on a hockey blog.
And just for backround, I first got the internet in 1997, the day after Messier left the Rangers and desperately tried to find a hockey blog so I could scream about it somewhere. And yes, back in 1997 that was in fact in my mother's basement, although my waste size was about 30 then I think? I don't know, I know you are obsessing about that aspect of me, but, my memory is a little foggy there. |
