Perfetti amazing clutch nerves of steel. Out of Byfield and Lafreniere who do you like better?
- NuckUp

I lean Byfield, but I’m far away from any final conclusions.

Using both is the current way if the league, relying only the eye test is for the dinosaurs that no longer have jobs in this league.
- neem55

I’ll take only the eye test over only nerdalytics any day. Stats are the lesser part of the 2.

Geez, it ain’t hard right now to find a job. Every trade is understaffed.

Try and find someone decent at tape and mud, plumbing, mechanical, electrical. I’m losing days on schedule because the trade guys are so undertrained or lack the skills to do a job quickly and efficiently.

- bloatedmosquito

Facing the baby boomers aging while nearing retirement & new gens unmotivated & clueless to opportunity. Not all trades are booming or in demand.

Yeah its early. Byfield has great size and soft hands. That play he made the other day to score through the legs was sweet. Though clutch performances show another level. Lets see who steps up in the finals.

Is Podz on the Russian team in the finals?

No... and for some reason he didn’t take part in the WJSS, instead playing for Russia 2 in the Sochi Open vs what look like dudes from 8 Rinks. Anyone know the story behind that?

I doubt the showcase has as much cachet for Russians is my thought. It’s not really a tourney more like a tune-up going forward.

Russia’s best 18 to 22 year olds on are on Podkolzin’s Olympic team facing off against KHL pro clubs. You failed the eye test. Go crunch some numbers in your basement.😂

Ha, (frank) off rojan. I know nothing about the Sochi open other than the “highlights” posted on twitter look like horsesh!t hockey. Twice as bad as the hockey in Da Beauty League which is full of actual NHLers.

How’s the ball sucker club (bloated & marwood excluded) doing in here these days?

Hey - if anyone’s interested in a goal scorer named “Cole” who’s actually worthy of massive pro hype, check out what Perfetti 🇨🇦 did vs 🇸🇪 today.

What a game he had and the shootout drama was the cherry on top.

This season has the Optimists the Wait & Sees & the usual Sticks in the Mud teams.

I’ll put myself on Team Optimists

lol reminds me when my ex said 'you must choose between your records and me'...

So I replied 'Just let me finish listening to this album and I'll help you pack'.

Green seems optimistic about his line options:

Miller Petey BB
Ferland Bo Pearson
Sven Gaudette JV
Lievo Beagle Sutter
Goldy, Motte - Rousell LTIR

Is this how he should start the season?
