Unfortunately, it looks to me like he'll be a Canuck for at least another season. If somehow he bags a couple early in the season, the confidence gained could lead to some respectable totals. |

LE/Sven for Ryan/2nd
Real money Ottawa saves 8m |

The team is pretty well in place for this year I don't see a big urgency . Unless Sven has an outstanding year I think it will be his last year.
Tanev should be moved at TDL.
Send Loui to AHL. |

I don't remember saying that but maybe?
I would absolutely trade for Turris though. |

Pending moving Markstrom in a package deal to Jackets to acquire Werenski and dumping other salaries like Sutter, Baertschi, Leivo, Beagle, Schaller, Motte, Biega, Canucks could move Ericksson to rebuilding Wings for G Jimmy Howard in last year of his deal and possibly Helm as a speedy vet C to shut down division rivals McDavid and Gaudreau. In addition to Ericksson the Wings get a choice of Gaudette, Utunen/Woo or Madden, Dipietro. Canucks great scouting has created more options for them and this can really speed up Yzerman's rebuild. |

2 mil per for buyout. He can be bought out.
I would let him play this year and move Sutter for a 7 th . If he has a good year 40 pts keep him another year if not buy him out.

The cost for dumping a contract like this is a 1st rounder, or a prospect who probably used to be one. Your return would be an AHL player. Or you could swap garbage for someone else's garbage?
Unless you need this space to sign Boeser just ride it out. |

Arizona is capped out. They can't be the place all contracts go to die this year. |

Thanks - I really did!
The food here was outstanding. We went to the new Polish Bistro downtown yesterday for borsch & perogies for lunch, then had an amazing Italian dinner last night at Villa Rosa. Both were excellent!

Yeah exactly. If I was Benning I would tell his agent go find him a new home or he is going to AHL.
He can retain half the cap hit but no selling off picks or prospects. |
