I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t sign anyone. Other than Panarin, there isn’t anyone that will make this team a contender or guarantee for the playoffs. And his asking price is too rich for NJ.

If they do get another top 6 FW I imagine it will be via trade as others have mentioned.

Wouldn’t mind one more improvement on D but not sure anyone out there is really worthwhile.

We did, we got Subban for peanuts. Also not knowing what the actual cap would be had put a hold on trades, and now its lower than people expected. There's an entire summer to go for Ray to make another move, teams are still struggling for cap. People need to chill out, you dont build a contender through free agency, you realistically only hurt yourself in the future.
