IF there is legit 1st round talent available at 34 then they should take it and use the other 2nd rounders for trades.

Obviously that depends on what people are offering.

Lavoie is a 6'4 scoring RW who shoots righty. Sounds like a good pick to me.

MAKE BELIEVE GM FOR A DAY UPDATE

Guys I wouldn't mind outside the 1st

ROUND 2

Arthur Kaliyev
Egor Afanasyev
Bobby Brink
Raphael Lavoie
Brett Leason
Mikko Kokkonen
Anttoni Honka (I'm not really that high on him anymore, but if we take him I'm not sad either)

ROUND 3
Jordan Spence
Antti Tuomisto (For you guys who love size)

ROUND 4-5
Martin Hugo Has
Kristian Tanus
Dmitri Sheshin
Ivan Drozdov

Leave Mikko Kokkonen for the Rangers so he can play with Kaapo Kakko.

It’ll just be funny.

This is a dream scenario for Devs. Someone real good is going to fall to them. I just hope Ray doesn't fo off the tracks here. And as Todd mentioned, #34 just became much more valuable.

He’s projected to go late 2nd, I don’t see him as being overrated as all. Will probably be a real good 2nd/3rd pair shut down and PK guy. You still need those in the NHL. I would definitely take a chance on him with one of our later 2nd rounders.

Anyone buy Kaliyev, Devils have a good group of hard working, positive attitude prospects. Don’t need any character issues.

I just realised we convinced Nikita Popugaev to come back from russia he played in albany last year or parts of it and is a 6'6 big shot winger ( he is a project ) I was pretty excited when we drafted him.

It would of been nice to land Beecher he seems like the exact type of player we have 0 of in the system or on the roster.

I do like what I saw from Bastian but I dont know if he is aggressive enough. Yeah he stood up for himself and with throw the body but he isnt a mean guy.

And the size ! We need skill badly but we cant just have all our skill guys be 6 feet or under and under 200 lbs. I think Boqvist andnBratt with be lucky to hit 180 and how much weight can Hughes realistically put on? At some point we are going to have to go after high end large players just to have some balance.

Its no good to have a couple big guys if they only play 8 minutes a night.
