Im just curious if hes not a risk you would take then what would be ? I wouldnt be over paying for him but there wasnt a soul that thought cbj messed up taking Dubois.
Thats enough for me to be interested. I mean when the Devils take risks is it ever on anyone who has any sort of pedigree ? I cant think of any its usually tweeners like Ryan Murphy blah |

This site says he's comparable to Reid Boucher.... so yeah maybe not go too hard after him. I'd go more then used gym socks, but less then anything valuable.
Like maybe John Q and a 6th round pick... |

We'll get Puj, he wont make lineup then bolt to Europe. And we'd lose more. |

So much losing we'll be sick of losing...

At last the world will finally go first lol..my dream scenario would be so how getting into top 15 (trade all 2nds???) And get jacks buddy come caulfield..could you imagine? It'll be like Kane and debrincat |

From many mock drafts he is going on top 10
I hope we can get into the 20's or trade for someone who can help......but think we will be quiet today other than drafting hughes |

I'm not putting too much stock in the Hughes-Caufield connection. Caufield is tiny too, like actually tiny at 5'7, 165. I know it's not everything, but I'm not going to lose it if we don't get him. I'm reminded of the Henrique-Hall connection and how great they were in Windsor, (and I was all about getting them both together).. then at the NHL level it wasn't as electric. So you just never know with the "dynamic duo" stuff. |

I know it won't happen but someone like kreider would be nice
We have wood but kreider is a level above wood and he his speed and hits
Even if we were able to trade up and get a very good wing prospect, they won't be ready for a few seasons |

Apparently every team is looking to package big contracts for cap relief. Might be the first time somebody gives up real assets for cap in a long time. |

Looks like we can add Faulk, Barrie and Letang to the list of available defense right now. Good time to be in the market. |

Not many teams have the cap flexibility we do right now. I think we gotta do something like that. |

If Byram falls to #4 I think it’s pretty much a lock Barrie gets moved. He’s got one year left and I can’t see Colorado investing in him long term with Byram in the system.
I’d be very surprised if Letang is moved though, he’s not the player I’d be looking to move for relief if I was the Pens. |

No to Puljujarvi... even if it's for a 2nd.
I don't think he conducted himself professionally enough. He's a confused kid right now and maybe needs a year or two in Europe to get some perspective. |

To be fair, being an Edmonton Oiler could be tough on anyone. I’d take him. |

He'd be a good reclamation project for a team like Colorado, Winnipeg, or Montreal since they have Finnish players which might help him become familiar and teach him to be a pro. |
