I'm happy for Bozak.

He's a good 3rd line centre - it wasn't his fault he was cast in the 1st line centre role.

Tip your Leafs cap to Bozie and move on.

My sentiments EXACTLY.

okay? It's still true that he was never going to win as a Leaf.

I'm not saying this with any bitterness if that's what you're picking up.

yeah, it's been 10 years. he was a good 2 way player as a Leaf, and I have no ill will for him at all. Good for him. 10 years ago, the Leafs were not in a good place, that much is true.

Bozak - he served us well in his time. I don't think he's a bad player, never have. I don't think he has a place on this current team either though. No hard feelings, I'm happy he won a cup. It's not like it was going to happen here with him playing 1C. or 2C for that matter.

It's a long standing tradition that Leaf fans bash guys until they're run out of town, then those players go on to be successful with other franchises. It's happened over and over, and will probably happen with Gardiner and Zaitsev too. Both of whom, I'd love to keep, I just don't see how it's possible.

But many here will tear them apart, and then watch them go on to be key players on other teams.....

Gardiner I think will be fine aslong as he's healthy. However, as a leaf fan I'm cautious of management spending money on players with back problems already. Those seemingly only get worse as time goes on.

For Gardiner's sake I hope he gets 7 x 7 and then is too injured to play and retires wealthy.

I wish I worked at a saw mill, because I'd cut off a finger so that I could go home early today.

If you look hard enough I'm sure you can find something at your work to sever a finger with. Try harder, Wedgie.

Sucks for the Bruins, they were clearly the better team. If not for the refs, the bruins would have won this in 4.

The refs have always been against them....surprised they may it this far. So tough being a bruin facing all this adversity.

That is priceless.

Marchand: "Not so loud in Toronto tonight eh?"

Ah to see another poetic justice.
