I thought the Cup was rigged to be won by Boston because of their owner Jeremy Jacobs. Did he forget to make the last payment?

It really sucked that St Louis scored goals.

Watched the game and it was about as boring as they get. I had no skin in this one just wanted to watch a decent game. I had a feeling after the 2nd goal that St Louis would do the old rope a dope .... and they did. Just glad its over, one of the worst playoffs in my memory. Three quality teams eliminated in the first round and a game seven in the final that was a snoozefest.

It was a nightmare scenario for the NHL. Low ratings franchises, no one in BOS would buy Bruins merch, no big name marketable players, boring styles of play etc.. I only watched one game each series.

One of the least entertaining Final games. The Blues got that lucky goal, 2 goals on 4 shots and just stood in front of their net all night. Rough game.

The saddest thing about the Blues winning the cup is now that it’s over, you’ll all forget what kind of team the Blues are and go back to fawning over Nylander, and having small skilled cupcakes out there. “Ohh gee-whiz look at willyboy out there skating around like a water-bug, that’ll for sure win us a cup!”

in fact... for all you olde-timey types, "the hockey gods have spoken", no penalties called in a game played by two teams that good old DonC would say play the "right way"... no penalties at all.
