Good luck guys!

I remember in ‘94 the game day waiting being the hardest part too lol.

It’s about as good as it gets when the team you’ve been rooting for since you were a kid is on the brink of winning it all - for the first time in your lifetime (if ever at all).

Few things in life can make a grown-ass man leap out of his chair and cheer for joy - so who cares if it’s “just sports.” Here’s to the Blues winning the Cup tonight - it’s a fanbase that’s endured enough kicks to the crotch to have earned this reward.

As an eagles fan that was resigned to never seeing them win a super bowl. I am going to watch tonight and hope blues fans get to experience what it’s like!

best 5 on 5 play i have seen since the hawks of 2013-15. blues do it differently than those hawk teams...

their forecheck and puck retrieval is outstanding...bruins need to figure out how to get some ozone time cuz they chased the puck the entire 1st period other than the pp and 5 on 3 they had...

also I wouldn't mind if perron and marchand went at it and they knocked each other out...

If only Perron had the offensive upside of that little rat... Perron v Marchand with both of them out? Absolutely.

Those Hawks teams were good at working the puck, but they didn’t rely on board play nearly as much as these Blues. Finesse vs grind. I’d argue those early Hawks Cups of this era were some of the best hockey I’ve seen in my life.

i agree with you...thats the difference

the hawks were not a physical forecheck team like the blues

they relied on rapid transition 60-80 foot passes from the d and off they went...once they established the zone their cycle was outstanding...of course they had hossa a top 5 200 foot player...

BTW..theat dirty slew foot by marchand...if your cassidy you sit that dippoops ass for acouple of shifts...no excuse for that and in addition to taking a bad penalty

But you and I know... he didn’t “see it”.

Btw - I agree with you that coaches should hold their players accountable for bullpoop penalties. The Blues have had a series of bad hits in these playoffs. Head hunting, slew footing, nasty boarding... I wish that they’d stop it. I could see it potentially happening in the regular season. It is the coach’s responsibility to address it.

you can't be suggesting coaches and teams holding their players accountable for cheap dirty hits...wow...there's an idea; but it will never happen...

coaches look the other way when its their guys and female dog and moan (like cassidy did) when they are the receiving...

the nhl leadership and management is all talk and denial about safety...

i think so...rask will make it happen...bruins gotta get better 5 on 5 play...blues have ripped them 5 on 5 the entire series; only rask saved their ass going into the third and then the weird ground ball to short goes in...

nice dippoop end of game courage by bortuzzo: 3 shots to the bruin player with 20 seconds...

you want stop that end of game crap: suspend players who decide to take liberties at the end of games...(frank) him

Bruins will probably be huge favorites in game 7. But there has been talk about how soft and poopty the ice is in Boston. And if so, that might give a slight edge to the more physical team.
