Another interesting tidbit - Is Rask's save percentage inflated due to QOC? He has faced the 6th, 10th, and 25th best regular season shooting teams.

Binnington faced 4th, 5th and 28th though Dallas was 28th would have improved a lot with Zuccarello in the lineup for more than two regular season games.

Same. Holding my breath anytime a player on either side winds up, pacing around every TV timeout lol.

Heard at my house: “Bozak, get your stick on the ice!” (Thomas hard pass through the crease) and “Oh oh oh!” (Steen walked out from the half boards and almost made it through the traffic)...

Chara played that correctly. Pastrnak hung them out to dry...

How huge is that mistake right now?

Get used to Boston being handed PP after PP, many on soft calls, while they also get away with a tonne of poop. The Blues will need to beat the refs as well.

Good luck, STL.

Terrible icing call. The defenseman was alone. He could’ve gotten to the puck. The puck did not even cross the goal line when the linesman called icing. That’s some straight bullpoop.

The Blues aren’t adjusting to deal with the Bruins’ forecheck. Seems as though the Bruins adjust between a one and two-man forecheck and maintain solid positioning through the middle of the ice.

Unforced passing errors too...

Not sure who was worse tonight, the Blues or the officials. Looking right at the Chara slash and let it go... but Thomas hooking call is made? Watching Coyle come up and initiate contact, both players jostle, Coyle punches Blais twice... and Blais is the only call? Krug lack of charging?

Edmundson reverting to his regular season self, let's hope Dunn can play soon. First line looked decent, rest of the team never did anything offensively.

They played poor enough to lose regardless of officiating.

I agree with most of this. If you saw the Krug replay, he was gliding from roughly the blue line to the check. The game frustrated the hell outta me. The Blues didn’t adjust after the first period. They didn’t make their own breaks.

That said, when you’re on a power play and your man advantage is negated by a slash that breaks the stick? It could’ve changed the game...

Curious to know if Chara just got bloodied on the forearm from Tarasenko’s shot or if it broke a bone...

After all said and done there's that. Need to be better. And a bit smarter.
