Housley was an "activate-the-defense-at-all-costs" coach who's blueline emphasis was so offensive that the team had no idea what to do in their own zone.

This sentence is accurate using both meanings of the word. Well played.

I think people are just taking the easy way out by blaming the system. This is a defensively deficient group. It forced Phil to use Larsson closer to a 2C than 4C. For all the talk of using Risto 'properly', they lack defensemen capable of handling tough d assignments.

Ralph is a culture changer.
This hiring is the best thing the Sabres have done since drafting Gil Perreault.
Well done GMJB.
Good for you guys.

“No one thinks he's a bad coach, but he couldn't transfer what he did in Pittsburgh to Buffalo and personnel was a big factor in it. Housley was a rookie coach who had success as an assistant while grooming the best group of defensemen in the NHL prior to his departure. What he did with the Nashville Predators didn't transfer to the Sabres because of personnel. ”

They didn’t know how to:

the area on the golf course between the tee box and the green where the grass is tightly mowed is called the fairway. You two should get acquainted.

I remember when Tiger was Tiger and it was some match play tourney and some schmuck said how Tiger couldn't hit the fairway to save his life so he wasn't very worried. Then proceeded to lose 7 and 6 or something like that.

9 and 8, Jesus, I knew he crushed him, but I didn't remember it was that bad. It was 13 years ago, I'm surprised I remember it at all.

“You have no idea how ticked I was that I missed that putt on the 10th hole to beat him 10 and 8,” Woods said.

If he wins, Koepka will have won 4 majors in 2 years. He's a beast. I'll say it now, he will win 10 majors when all is said and done. He has stumbled a bit the last few holes but he's in total command.
