I really dont see them giving up on lehkonen yet, bothJulien and Bergevin love him...how much value does a mid first round pick hold nowadays? Really not sure it could entice a team to give the kind of blue liner we need right now...as for Weise, didnt he clear waivers last season? Anyone taking him would be doing us a favour really so i think we’d need to give more than that im afraid

Agree on Weise, notice how that wasn't part of my proposal... and as far as "giving up" on Lehkonen, I wouldn't really call it that, there's quite a few F under contract, especially on the left side and someone will have to go if Bergy is gonna swing a deal to upgrade the D

They said Juulsen was 100%, and it being an eye injury, the risk of it being something reoccurring is extremely minimal.... I think if you combine the 3, it's an interesting package and like I said, to a team looking for cap relief, it's not a bad option, especially if the Habs take another contract in the transaction.... Lehkonen & Juulsen could also be Brook and Armia + the 15th
