Poulin's goal was the greatest moment in Flyers Hockey I ever experienced. The place went nuts!!!
If I remember correctly, we lost Home Ice advantage to yet another weird asss rule by the NHL Didn't matter though... |

Very pumped that a young talented kid like Myers is going to get some great experience being on the Canadian National Team. Good for him being ready to go.
Looking forward to what kind of deals we sign some of our RFA and UFA to or not sign them to in some cases. Those signings will set the stag for what they will have to deal with in the FA market and to a lesser extent in the trade market. We will know what the Flyers are dealing with soon enough. Until then, I'm enjoying the worlds and the playoff run with big Rat. |

It becomes silly when the sports leagues arbitrarily pick and choose what replay can be used for. Either make it all reviewable or nothing at all |

How do you miss that call? Haha we can review an offsides that happened a minute before a goal but not a clear as day hand pass right in front of the net, directly leading to a goal. |

What really makes me think: what if last nights goal (and lack of call) was a game 7 OT or just a series clinching winner? Or even a SC game? Would it still stand as called on ice? You know after last night the league will have a meeting on this matter this summer to prevent it happening again |

NHL competing with the NFL (Saints) in playoff officiating gaffes. Clear-cut hand pass. Unbelievable that they blew that call.
Good for Myers getting some Hockey Canada international experience with some great pros and a nice way to get acclimated with AV.
I really hope the Flyers make a real push to land Panarin. |

Man i wish we could, it seems like in addition to Florida however, Panarin wants to play in NY, so either Isle or Rags. Also probably wouldn't mind a return to Chicago with Kaner still there, doesn't seem like the Fly guys are even on his radar. Money does talk though, and we have plenty of it. |

He should have a talk with JJ ReRichard. Man loves NYC and his family lives there. But signed with Philly. Just a train away 🤷♂️ |

I don't know how 4 freaking officials missed it. I mean, I am rooting for the Sharks because I would like to see Thornton get his cup but its a joke they missed it. if it was a case where it just hit the glove then I see missing it but he flat out batted at it. Meier got an assist for his hand pass |

It's silly to suggest that every judgement call made be reviewable. That would lead to endless reviews. There always will be and always has been human error in judgement calls made on the ice. Flyers fans know this full well.

Why can't this be looked at as a simple review method. Just like the NFL, was it a catch or not a catch, was it out of bounds or in bounds. This is not asking to review a penalty or a flag, more of a play within the game that should be correct to maintain the integrity. The coach has one review for goaltending interference and offsides, why can't he review a hand pass? In my opinion, reviewing a hand pass, or a puck being touched with a high stick, should almost be automatic and not the responsibility of the coach.
If they refs can stop the game to see if a puck went over the ice without any deflection, they should be able to review hand passes |

the nfl certainly has their issues with replay. |

i don't even like that they can review offside and goalie interference. i wish they got rid of both honestly. i accept that there's human error, sometimes it works in your favor, sometimes it doesn't.
especially the offside one though. i know it's been said, but you shouldn't be able to go back minutes to see if someone was offside. |

This can be applied to any play. Where does it end? They can stop the play and review anything. |

The size of the goalies have certainly changed over the years. (looking at those highlights from 1985)
As for the 2010 run, I really thought after the 0-3 comeback that that squad was destined for the Cup. |
