Meh, not really a hot take.. Initially, I thought it was just to favour the Bruins, because, well, they are the Bruins and the league does everything it can to only help Boston.

Actually so true. After our game 2 and since I've been watching the CBJ and Car series and some of those calls, and now with the west coast shiite, I kinda knew something would start happening...even if it is just talk for now, good first step.

I'm not a chronic ref complainer, getting close though, and I've seen bad calls against the Bs too...far fewer but they are there...fix the facking system already. Makes the game suck. IMO.

Chip the puck and laser the goal line and top of the boards for delay of game calls...make them light up for fan clarity and energy.

It's getting to the point where it's becoming difficult to give the league the benefit of the doubt. Between the brutal icings, and brutal calls that seem to favour 2 teams in particular over and over, it's looking pretty ridiculous.

There is a salary cap. They can only spend so much money and the Leafs have lots of good scoring wingers. He is better than most of them, but again, with a cap they simply can't afford him while the d sucks. It's not that people hate the guy, although he seems like a bit of a Richard, it is mostly dealing with the cap and balancing the roster that are the issues.
