Thats why the Hayes idea is perfect imo. 2C for this year, can slide into a 3C role. $6 per makes way more sense than $10m for Duchene when hopefully Mitts will be taking that role in 2 years

Yea.... I don't think any of these will happen. Sign Skinner but not at that term being the most likely.

Signing Duchene to some big 7.5+M AAV is literally the EXACT same thing as signing ROR to that contract. He's a fringe 1C on a bad team or 2C on a good team that puts up 50-70 points.

He's a guy that wants to be paid 6.5-7.5M as a top pairing guy won't be that shut down guy you hope. He's not worth 7OA.
