Jim Schoenfeld is stepping down from his position with the Rangers. Hopefully, this means the end of Lindy Ruff as the primary defensive coach and will allow for Davis Quinn to bring in a younger man to manage the infusion on young defenseman entering the organization.

I think it's dumb as hell in every sport if the head coach can't pick his assistants. How do you expect him to reach his potential if he doesn't have full control over the part of the organization he is in running.

Yeah he's an absolute stud. To a slightly lesser extent Bode Wilde too, it's comical that he fell to the 2nd round. The Isles basically got 3 first round picks in that draft.
