its fun to see people passing out on youtube when pushing it doing this - Xizord
In 2016, Hall became a world record holder for being the first man to deadlift 500kg. The impressive feat took a serious physical toll, he tells Euronews.
“I woke up in a massive pool of blood,” he recalls. “I had blood coming out of my nose, my tear ducts, my ears.”
Hall goes on to say that he remembers paramedics having to race to the scene to assist him. The athlete’s doctors told him that blood vessels in his brain had burst during the lift.
“My heart rate was through the roof, my blood pressure was unreadable,” he says. “I couldn’t see, I lost my vision for a few hours and for about two weeks I forgot my kids’ names”. |

Well lifting 1100 pounds wil do that to you...it seems
was talking to probably the biggest Mofo in my gym (he benches 365 pound 3-4 times, no problem and very cleanly). He was saying he was regularly deadlifting 500 pounds...then one day he couldn’t walk anymore... so he avoiding that exercise like the plague now ! |

I can but I don't go over 405 pounds because there's no real gain and a real good chance of (frank)ing up your back |

love how the kids now think its better to do that in socks and they elevate the weights with cushions...where is suppose to be the other around : elevate yourself so you have more amplitude ( AKA under your feet)
Then they use the sumo grip cause they can't do it properly otherwise |

Well you should'nt elevate yourself if you don't have the mobility you'll just end up with a rounder back.
It's good to elevate the weights if you don't have the mobility to maintain a good form. |

In my book if you don't have the mobility then you should not deadlift !
Its also going down, AKA the said round back, you will hurt yourself, not going up !
voila its was my teachable moment of the month ! |

I don't mind if they scale the movement, work the muscle groups and slowly work toward the regular deadlift safely. |
