Ben Bishop is an outstanding goal tender but there's nothing else about Dallas that concerns me. I'm not impressed with them. If the Blues lose this series - or if it even goes the distance - it will be their own fault.

Blues lost that game with just plain ole sloppy play. Even when they closed it to 3-2 and were trying to rally and tie the game - they were playing like crap.

Glad to see the shakeup. Edmundson was / is brutal right now. I was hoping to see Perron moved off the top line, he hasn't contributed anything since that switch that jump started Schwartz.

Alex Pietrangelo couldn't hold a puck in at the point with a snow shovel. Why on earth is he on the top PP unit?

Petro's shots from the point often look they are coming off 9-irons. The missed shots have to reduce. Get the puck to the net with traffic. Look at Parayko's goal....it wasn't a howitzer.

Petro's shots always get blocked ha. If he could get his shot on net he'd score 20 goals a year with how many attempts / and minutes he plays.

Eddie just is not playing well enough.
O'Reilly looks so much less tenacious compared to the first 65 games of the regular season.

Sundqvist looks hurt.

Parayko looks awesome. Love it when he takes possession and motors up ice.

Pietrangelo on the power play has been frustrating for years. Slows things down too much, shot doesn't get through often enough, he doesn't ever look comfortable moving in/away from the point, and therefore stays too stationary. Good power plays typically have players in motion.

I hope for a much more aggressive tenacious team tonight.

I will say the 10 or so stoppages in the first few minutes of the first period last game likely had something to do with the slow speed of the team. Still......show some energy!!!

Again, a lot of costly mistakes and breakdowns on defense, but what a great job of battling through it all.

There was actually a time period of oh, about a minute and 28 seconds where I wasn't annoyed with Alex Pietrangelo's stupid face. But he set everything right again with a lazy, awful clearing attempt to equalize his own goal.

Blues really are the Rodney Dangerfield of hockey. All I hear from NHL tonight is how Dallas just needs to play better and it feels like they are pulling for them. Didn't the Blues seat higher in the standings? What the heck

100% agree absolutely hate the announcers. So sick of them blowing Dallas they don’t do any thing wrong in their eyes.

LGB win this series so we can stop hearing about how good Dallas is.

Logically though, which team would you think they’d trumpet? Look at the playoffs so far:

Pittsburgh v NYI - media coverage favors? Pens
Tampa v Columbus - media coverage favors? Tampa
Washington v Carolina - media coverage favors? Caps

In all of those examples, the teams that have the better media coverage have well known stars on their team.

Who’s the most well-known star on the Blues? A guy who struggles with media interviews.

Nothing wrong with using those sound bites as additional motivation...
